The invention of the stapler

1868 Charles Gould obtained a British patent for a wire stapler, he used wire to make material, cut the wire to a certain length, the wire pointed hard through the paper and then folded, this is the direct prototype of modern stapler.

In 1869, Thomas Briggs of Boston, Massachusetts, invented a machine capable of acting as a he founded a "Boston Wire binding Machine Company" that manufactures and sells this machine, and his machine breaks the wire and bends it into a U-shaped shape, then uses it to pin through the pages and then bends to properly fix the book. Now the stapler also has a U-shaped container.
